 HOW TO SIGN UP?

 If you are a qualified Zimbabwean health professional residing in the UK and wish to participate in the programme you may:  

 Complete a Pre-Application Form via the internet

OR

Complete a  Pre- Application form  and submit via e-mail.

Contact IOM offices in the UK , who will provide you with further information, help to fill in the application  form and answer any  questions that you may have.

In recent years, service delivery in the Zimbabwean health sector has been compromised by the migration of health professionals to South Africa , the United Kingdom , Australia , Botswana , Canada and other countries. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) offers a programme to help bring back on short-term returns Zimbabwean health professionals and lecturers to support health institutions and the University of Zimbabwe - College of Health Science (UZ-CHS). 

As a health professional one can be placed temporarily in selected hospitals around Zimbabwe or at the UZ-CHS to conduct joint medical procedures with local personnel, give lectures at the medical school or contribute in other ways to the Zimbabwean health sector.

The aim of the project is to contribute towards the improvement of health services in Zimbabwe and to train health personnel at the UZ-CHS.
